Supporting St. Mary's Through a Financial Gift

Gifts of Cash |
| |
A gift of cash, paid outright or pledged over as many as five years, provides immediate support for St. Mary's programs, services and facilities. Your contribution can be made by check or charged to your MasterCard, Visa or American Express by contacting St. Mary's Development Department at 318-445-6443.

Memorial Gifts |
| |
A gift made in memory or in honor of a loved one is a generous and thoughtful gesture to recognize a person's life and accomplishments. A Mass in St. Mary's chapel can also be offered in the memory or honoring of an individual. To send this type of gift, please attach a note with your check giving the person to be remembered or honored and the name and address of the appropriate contact person to receive the acknowledge-ment. Please send your check and memorial information to St. Mary's Residential Training School, Development Department, P. O. Drawer 7768, Alexandria, LA 71306.

Gifts in Kind |
| |
St. Mary's accepts gifts-in-kind from individuals and groups for items such as clothing, toys and school supplies. The tax benefits for gifts-in-kind can be similar to gifts of money or securities. One way of supporting St. Mary's in this manner is through our Guardian Angel Program. Approximately one-quarter of our children and young adults do no have the blessing of a loving family. An individual or group can help by sponsoring a child. Through the kind generosity of others, these children receive clothing, birthday and Christmas gifts and other care packages. Fund Raisers

St. Mary's Challenge Walk/Run |
| |
Each October, parents, staff, civic and religious organizations and businesses join St. Mary's children and young adults for a three mile run and one mile walk. Hundreds of supporters walk hand in hand with our children as they raise money for the many programs and services offered at St. Mary's. This event was chosen because it is an activity that our residents can be active participants in a community-wide event. To register or sponsor a child to walk on your behalf, click here.
